MÖTLEY CRÜE's NIKKI SIXX: 'It's A Long Way From Idaho'
November 21, 2005MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx has posted the following message in his online diary:
"I think the second show in Tokyo was even better than the first one. We leave for Hiroshima in a few hours and I'm already up so I'm thinking of grabbing a taxi and going over to the temple... The jet lag is lurking but fading at the same time. Still waking up at 5 a.m., tossing and turning 'till I finally just give up, grab my bass, a smoke and some coffee. Donna [wife] is in Los Angeles finishing our studio. She has ordered all the lighting and is setting it up in the photography area. She's packing her lenses and cameras and getting ready to leave for Cambodia in a few days too. We've both been X-mas shopping 'cause while I'm still on tour she is leaving for London soon to start a movie. There just isn't enough time for us to do a lot of it together. She's gonna film a documentary of our journey through Cambodia and Thailand as well as photography. She will edit it all together with final cut pro back at our studio. How fucking cool to be able to do this together....
"Looking out the window of the 36th floor over Tokyo and as far as the eye can see is only buildings. It's a long way from Idaho.
P.S.: I was given a bass as a gift from a fan. This is the second bass he has given me. It's my fave T-Bird I own... Thank you..."
